We first met Cassie in February… Cassie felt unsure about having a baby. Her boyfriend resisted. Amnion’s client advocate offered medical information, options, and many resources that would be available to Cassie to provide support throughout her pregnancy. She left feeling pressure, unsure, and troubled.
Yesterday Cassie returned. Cassie arrived to joyfully share she chose LIFE! She was happily pregnant — fully nauseous and exhausted, but she is choosing to carry and was so happy to see her baby wiggling on the Ultrasound screen. Cassie had blood work and found out that she is having a girl!
Cassie shared that she broke up with boyfriend after her last apppointment, but that he has started to come around and that he is no longer pressuring her to have an abortion. They have a dinner date scheduled for Wednesday night, where she plans to tell him she wants to make a plan for the future together with their baby. Cassie wants a healthy relationship but she also has the courage to move on without him. Pray for this couple as they navigate these conversations. Amnion’s Nurse, Amanda, shared “I was in tears as I was praying over her at the end of our appointment just asking the Lord to cover her and to remind her how much He loves her.”
