One of our advocates recently began working with a woman who had an abortion many years ago. When they initially began meeting, the woman wasn’t sure she really needed to work through her past choice, as she felt her feelings of guilt/shame were resolved. Shortly into beginning the curriculum, however, the woman discovered there were parts of her story that remained unhealed. She is committed to the post-abortion recovery journey and will continue to meet with our advocate regularly.
