Melanie Parks
Executive Director

I have always been pro-life, and am honored to work for a ministry that encourages families to choose life in such a compassionate and caring environment. I appreciate all of the PEOPLE who are connected to Amnion -- those who are passionate about the ministry -- from the employees, to Board Members, donors, volunteers and clients who give of their time, talents and resources to support this Kingdom ministry. It is such a blessing to touch the lives of the people we serve.

Jennifer Trimble
Business Manager
bookkeeper@amnion.org

After 7 years as a stay-at-home mom the Lord led me to Amnion as the new Business Manager. I am excited to participate in this life-affirming ministry and honored to be a small part of the wonderful work Amnion does in providing hope and support during an unplanned pregnancy.

I have been married to Bill, a chef, for 17 years, and we are the proud parents of Clara, 12 and Willie, 8. Our home is made extra exciting by our rescued 3 year old Beagle mix, Lulu. I believe Amnion is making a difference because "...with God all things are possible."

Laura Taber
Nurse Manager
ltaber@amnion.org

I had the opportunity to serve on the medical unit transition team as a volunteer at Amnion, and God opened the door for me to join the staff as the Nurse Manager. I am excited to see what He will do as we expand to offer ultrasound services to our clients. I am grateful to serve in a place where life is affirmed, and compassion is extended with care and understanding.

Latoya Cohen
Client Advocate
lcohen@amnion.org

My passion for this work began in my teenage years. I first learned about abortion through a church presentation on Sanctity of Life Sunday, and I have had friends and a family member go through the devastation of abortion -- I know abortion breaks the heart of God and it breaks my heart too.

I appreciate building relationships with our clients, and am thankful for the freedom to share the love and forgiveness of Christ. I am grateful to be in a place where I can serve with my gifts, talents, and abilities for the glory of God.

Heidi Farinas
Development Coordinator
hfarinas@amnion.org

I have felt a calling to serve non-profits from a young age. I have worked with an education foundation, an organization serving Katrina victims, and with church projects.

God has gifted me with a passion for building relationships, event planning and organizing. I have always felt a calling to work for nonprofit organizations where my work is rich and fulfilling. I feel so blessed for the opportunity to work for Amnion and contribute to spreading the love of Christ.

I live in Blue Bell with my husband, Marc, and daughters Isabella and Lily. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, kayaking and I serve as a youth leader at my church, Fairview Village Church.

Debbie Matsinger
Office Assistant
dmatsinger@amnion.org

I was praying for a part time position while I volunteered at Amnion as a Nurse Consultant during the development of the Ultrasound Program. I love serving in a ministry that promotes life to women, children and men, and I believe God opened the door to work as an Office Assistant in this vital mission field. I feel blessed to support the positive impact that Amnion has in the community.

I have been married 21 years to my husband, Jack. We have two sons in their thirties who are embracing their careers. We live in Garnet Valley and worship at Crossroads Community Church in Upper Darby.

RealEd Coordinator

I am passionate about life-affirming causes - LIFE is a gift from God. I was drawn to Amnion not only because they encourage women in crisis pregnancies to choose life for their unborn children and help meet their needs once that new person is out of the womb and in the bassinet, but also because they serve these families in Jesus name, and for His glory and kingdom advancement. As part of the RealEd team, I am honored to help further Amnion's vision by empowering and encouraging young people to make healthy relationship choices, and reminding them help is available at Amnion if ever they should need it.

We offer the hope and support needed in an unplanned pregnancy...

Because every life matters.
